Yeah!!! FINALLY! So since I moved down here, 3 years ago, I've been waiting for snow.. I miss it terribly in NY... I love the idea of being in your house, watching the snow fall, or driving somewhere and seeing it on trees!!! It's so beautiful, I really do miss NY winter weather... So Sunday night we finally got snow, and a pretty good amount for down here.. I think by me, we got about 7" or more, a few towns over got 9"! So of course I took Dino (my dog) and we played in it, I believe he liked it quite a bit, he was running around like crazy.
So anyway I am extremely happy, even though its supposed to be 72 degrees on Saturday, and probably by tomorrow all the snow will be melted, but at least I took some good pictures and I actually saw snow, where I didn't have to drive two hours to see it in Boone!! Enjoy the NC snow pictures!

hee, I had my first ever snow last xmas in Seattle. I never lived where it snows before. Now I know why people have extra freezers where it snows, lol.
What a nice post. I'm on Long Island and we're thinking of moving to the R/D, NC area. While I won't miss the bitter cold and winds, I do think, like you, I'd miss the snow and what goes along with it - watching from home, PJs all day, hot chocolates on the couch!
RIGHT!! I definitely miss the hot chocolate and the sweat pants all day... I mean I do enjoy NC, but I definitely miss NY snow lol.. especially the excuse to not be able to go anyway for the day and cuddle on the couch lol!!!
